EVERYONE BELONGS
Best friends. Unlikely companions. A little family of their own.
Create a multi-pet portraitA portrait with raised surface texture created through printing. The painterly design is separate from the hand-finished oil option.
Yes. These designs illustrate possibilities; your portrait is designed from your own pet’s photos and character.
The gallery shows artwork and framing visualisations. Your portrait is made from your own pet’s photo.
FROM OUR STUDIO TO YOUR HOME
A question, an idea, or a whole family of pets. We welcome enquiries from around the world.
Portrait inspiration, new looks and occasional studio news.
Surface and framing visualisations follow your chosen portrait, using our studio samples as material references.
YOUR PET. THEIR PORTRAIT.
Garden Muse · The gentle daydreamer
Your pet takes centre stage. We tailor the portrait to their photo, personality and your preferred style.
Textured prints have a raised printed surface. Hand-finished oils begin with a printed base, with hand-applied oil colour and brushwork across approximately 70% of the surface. Both are designed from your pet’s photo.
Choose a look and specifications, then add one clear photo for each pet. Add to bag saves your configured portrait and photos to your cart. Complete checkout to place your order. We send the artwork for approval before production.
These are artwork and framing visualisations informed by our studio samples, rather than photographs of finished customer orders. Artwork dimensions exclude the outer frame. Choose the size and frame shown in the portrait options.
TWO PHYSICAL FINISHES
Choose raised printed texture or hand-finished oils. Character and natural styles are available in both.

TEXTURED PORTRAITS
A custom portrait with a raised surface created through printing. The relief adds another dimension as light moves across the design.

HAND-FINISHED OILS
Your pet’s portrait begins with a printed base, with hand-applied oil colour and brushwork across approximately 70% of the surface. These finishing touches give the work its own character.
Gallery images are illustrations; physical texture, frame materials and colours may vary.
SHARED PORTRAITS & SIZES
Two cats, two dogs, or a little of both. Different expressions can belong beautifully in the same picture.

Your pets do not need to pose together. Add one clear photograph per pet and leave the arrangement to the designer.
A quiet cat and an outgoing dog do not need matching poses or expressions. Tell us about them if you wish; notes are optional.
Choose two or three pets for a horizontal composition. For four or more, contact the studio to discuss an appropriate layout.
PICTURE THE SIZE
Inches and centimetres are shown together below.
Artwork dimensions are width × height, excluding the frame. The same three sizes turn horizontally for two or three pets.

Paper size illustrations, not finished artworks. Use the labelled measurements; perspective may vary.
| Size | Single pet | Two or three pets |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 20.3 × 25.4 cm | 25.4 × 20.3 cm |
| Medium | 30.5 × 40.6 cm | 40.6 × 30.5 cm |
| Large | 40.6 × 50.8 cm | 50.8 × 40.6 cm |
Centimetres rounded from inch sizes. Artwork dimensions exclude the outer frame. Choose your size and frame in the portrait options.
THE PORTRAIT PROCESS
Choose a look, share a photo and make room for a portrait of their own.

Choose a character portrait, a natural portrait, or a look suggested by the designer.
Choose textured or hand-finished oil, then the pet count, artwork size and frame.
Add one clear photo per pet. Names, personality and special requests are optional.
Your photo guides the expression and markings. We design the composition with a simple background that keeps the attention on your pet.
We send the artwork for your approval before production. Contact the studio with requested changes; any additional work or charges will be agreed with you first.
THE PHOTO GUIDE
You don’t need a professional camera. A clear original photograph in soft daylight is the best starting point.

Crouch to your pet’s height. A front-facing or gentle three-quarter view makes their facial proportions easier to read.
Use soft daylight or open shade. Avoid strong backlighting, flash glare and dark shadows across the face.
Show the eyes, ears and distinctive markings. Use the original photo, with enough space around the head.
LOOK FOR
TRY ANOTHER PHOTO
Choose one clear individual photograph for each pet. They do not need to pose together. We arrange the composition; a preferred position or a size difference that is unclear from the photos can go in the optional notes.
Use a clear pet photograph for either. You do not need to dress your pet up. The clothing and character styling are part of the design.
Use the original file or a high-quality scan. If the face is unclear, contact the studio to discuss suitability before ordering.
JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB per photo. Convert HEIC to JPG first. Selecting a file creates a preview on your device. Add to bag uploads the selected photos with your portrait.
THE STILLKIN STUDIO
A familiar expression. An uneven ear. The little face that meets you at the door. Some family members deserve a place on the wall.

STILLKIN creates custom cat and dog portraits from the photographs you love. A portrait can welcome a new companion, become a personal gift, or simply make a favourite corner feel more like home.
Our starting point is the character you recognise. Quiet or curious, playful or dignified — the design should leave room for them to be themselves.
Natural portraits celebrate familiar animal poses. Character portraits imagine a role through clothing and styling. These are starting points; a designer can suggest a direction inspired by your pet’s personality.
Choose the physical finish separately: a raised, printed textured portrait or a hand-finished oil portrait.
A LITTLE HELP
A few things to know about choosing a look, preparing a photo and making their portrait personal.
Yes. We accept portrait orders for delivery to the United Kingdom. Choose your options, add a photo for each pet, then add to bag and complete checkout.
Textured portraits have a raised surface created through printing. Hand-finished oil portraits begin with a printed base, with hand-applied oil colour and brushwork across approximately 70% of the surface. Both are physical artworks; a digital download is not automatically included.
Natural portraits keep the pet’s animal form and familiar poses. Character portraits add clothing and a role, such as Scholar, Royal, Aviator, Artist or Captain. The designer can also suggest a look from your pet’s personality.
The examples show possible looks, not a restricted list of breeds. Cats and dogs of other breeds are welcome. Contact the studio about other animals or unusual compositions.
Yes. Choose two or three pets and add a separate photo of each. The layout becomes horizontal. For four or more pets, contact the studio to discuss the composition.
No. Clear photographs guide the markings and appearance. Names, personality and special requests are optional. The designer arranges the composition unless you add a preference.
Single-pet sizes are 8 × 10, 12 × 16 and 16 × 20 inches. Two or three pets use the same sizes horizontally. Dimensions exclude the outer frame. The total price updates with your chosen specifications.
We send your artwork for approval before production. Contact the studio with requested changes. Any additional work or charges will be agreed with you first; a fixed number of free revisions is not promised.

Prices and checkout are in GBP. Your payment provider may convert the payment from your own currency and charge a conversion fee. Product prices may vary by delivery country.
Estimated arrival: 15–20 working days after you approve the final artwork, for either finish. Design preparation and approval come before this delivery window. International transit and customs can cause delays; a specific arrival date is not guaranteed.
The gallery includes design, home-styling and finish illustrations. They help you explore a direction and are not presented as photographs of delivered customer orders.
Keep the artwork and packaging and contact the studio with the order reference and clear photos of the issue. The next steps will be discussed under the applicable order terms and consumer rights.

Prices and checkout are in GBP. You can use an eligible card or PayPal payment method in your own currency; your payment provider may convert the amount and charge a conversion fee.
STILLKIN covers import charges for the UK delivery destinations we serve. If a carrier requests an import payment, contact the studio with the notice before paying so we can resolve it.
Check your delivery address carefully. If it needs changing, contact the studio as soon as possible with your order reference and corrected details. A change may no longer be possible once a parcel has been dispatched. For a progress update, include your order reference and the email used for the order.
Contact the studio promptly if you want to change a photo, name, size, frame or design. What can be changed depends on the stage of work. The available options and any agreed charges will be explained before a change is made.
Personalised goods may be excluded from the ordinary change-of-mind cancellation right. This does not remove your rights if goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer protections.
Keep the artwork and packaging, and contact the studio with your order reference, a description of the problem and clear photographs of the artwork, packaging and shipping label. We will assess the issue and discuss the appropriate remedy under the applicable order terms and consumer rights. Ask for return instructions before sending anything back.
Display artwork indoors, away from damp, direct heat and prolonged harsh sunlight. Use hanging fittings appropriate to the final frame and your wall. Do not apply cleaning products or water to the painted or textured surface; ask for finish-specific care instructions.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS
This page explains how photographs are used for a STILLKIN portrait. Read our privacy policy for details about personal information, service providers, retention and your rights.
We use the photographs and instructions you send us to discuss, design and fulfil your portrait and provide aftercare. A brief can include pet names, markings, personality and design preferences. Please avoid including unrelated personal or sensitive information.
Selecting a photograph in the planner creates a preview on your device. Selecting a file alone does not send an enquiry or place an order. While ordering is unavailable, the local preview button does not upload your photographs or take payment. If you send photographs to us by email, those files are received by the studio.
Information you submit through our contact form is sent through Shopify so we can respond. A photo selected in the separate portrait planner is not automatically attached to the contact form.
Please use photographs you own or are authorised to provide. You retain rights in your original photographs and allow us to use them for the requested portrait service. We will ask separately before featuring your photographs or commissioned portrait in our marketing. Ordering a portrait does not itself give us permission for that publicity.
STILLKIN is operated by 北京观寰科技有限公司 (Beijing Guanhuan Technology Co., Ltd.). For questions or requests about your personal information, email service@stillkinstudio.com. Our company address and further details are in the contact information and privacy policy.
YOUR ORDER
We accept made-to-order portrait orders for delivery to the United Kingdom. Choose your portrait options, add your pet photographs, and complete checkout to place your order.
Before placing an order, check the finish, style, number of pets, names, artwork dimensions, frame details, included items and design-review arrangements. The studio’s accepted specification defines the order; a gallery example alone does not.
Confirm the currency, artwork price and any additional-pet or framing charges. Standard delivery and import charges are included for eligible UK addresses. Review your total and use a payment method offered at checkout. Adding to bag does not itself take payment.
Provide photographs that you own or are authorised to use. Check names, spellings and reference notes. Let the studio know if you intend to use the finished design commercially or need a digital file so that the scope of any permission can be agreed.
Agree whether a proof is provided, how changes are requested and what the agreed price includes. If the brief changes after work begins, ask the studio to confirm feasibility, cost and timing before proceeding.
Check the destination, delivery estimate and handling of any import charges. Read the delivery, changes and aftercare page. Your statutory consumer rights remain protected.
