Privacy and your pet photographs

This page explains how photographs are used for a STILLKIN portrait. Read our privacy policy for details about personal information, service providers, retention and your rights.

Your photographs and brief

We use the photographs and instructions you send us to discuss, design and fulfil your portrait and provide aftercare. A brief can include pet names, markings, personality and design preferences. Please avoid including unrelated personal or sensitive information.

Previewing a photograph

Selecting a photograph in the planner creates a preview on your device. Selecting a file alone does not send an enquiry or place an order. Add to bag uploads the selected photos with your portrait. Completing checkout places your order. If you send photographs to us by email, those files are received by the studio.

Sending an enquiry

Information you submit through our contact form is sent through Shopify so we can respond. A photo selected in the separate portrait planner is not automatically attached to the contact form.

Permission and publicity

Please use photographs you own or are authorised to provide. You retain rights in your original photographs and allow us to use them for the requested portrait service. We will ask separately before featuring your photographs or commissioned portrait in our marketing. Ordering a portrait does not itself give us permission for that publicity.
